Accorging to Zee News of 25th, Govt says that the amendment to RTI Act is not ”retrograssion” and claims its implementation would make it a more pweful tool.
At another place Zee News ( d/- 25th July) say that Anna Hazare is threatening fast unto death if the amendment relating to file noting being kept out of the purview of RTI Act is passed.
One wonders why experts in law like Arun Jetley or Ram Jethmalani have so far not come forward with their true and correct interpretation of those amending provisions to opine for bublic knowledge/benefit whether the amendment will really make the law more powerful tool or it will dilutes it earlier biting power.
Sooner the clarification comes forth better it will be
